Fields, quiet lanes, some woodland crossing branches of the Sherston/Tetbury Avon. Shipton Moyne, Brockenborough, Cowage Farm, Foxley Church and Easton Grey. Moderate pace and only gentle inclines. Coffee and lunch stop

Church to Church

Moderate walk, 8 Miles (12.9km)
Quiet lanes and across fields from Sherston following the Sherston branch of the River Avon. Didmarten church, then fields to Sopworth church, and then on to Luckington church with its literary links. Return along the Macmilllan Way. Terrain 1 - not much climbing Coffee and lunch stops

Leaving Bisley we visit Sydenhams, The Scrubs, High Wood,, Southmead Lane, Holbrook and Calfway Lane. Terrain 2 Hilly and level mix Coffee stop

All the Sodburys

Moderate walk, 6.2 Miles (10km)
Across Sodbury Common to Little Sodbury End, across fields to Little Sodbury, then the Cotswold Way up to the Iron Age fort and down again to Old Sodbury Church for a coffee stop. Then walk along the Frome Valley Walkway back to Chipping Sodbury. Terrain 2 Hilly and level mix Largely flat, except for one steep climb up to the Hill Fort, 2-3 stiles Moderate pace Coffee stop Plenty of places to eat in Chipping Sodbury after the walk

Slimbridge to Cambridge circular

Leisurely walk, 4 Miles (6.4km)
Following footpaths across fields, quiet lanes, woodland to Cambridge, very short stretch along A38 and then heading back to Slimbridge through woodland alongside the River Cam , passing through Nature reserve and finishing with a stroll along the canal towpath although may be walked in reverse. Terrain T0 - flat Coffee stop Food available at Black shed cafe or Tudor Arms at end of walk.

A Walk in the Park.

Moderate walk, 5 Miles (8km)
Our walk will be mainly on paths within Woodchester Park and will be about 5 miles long. Within the park, the paths used will depend on the weather in the weeks leading up to the walk. Nevertheless some paths may still be muddy. Bring a snack and drink for the coffee stop. Moderate pace with pauses to admire the views. A small herd of Belted Galloway cattle graze within the park. Will we be lucky with the weather?

Leisurely walk, 4.5 Miles (7.2km)
From the Old Royal Ship through Luckington village towards Sherston and back. Mainly fields and lanes. A couple of stiles that are a little difficult. Terrain 1 - not much climbing. Please meet at 10.20. Food available in the pub. Pre-order before walk.

Ups and Downs And Autumnal Views

Moderate walk, 6 Miles (9.7km)
We enjoyed this walk so much in the Spring, that we thought it would be lovely to repeat it in Autumn.  Sydenhams Catswood, Laurie Lee Wood and views from Swifts Hill. Steep Hills, tricky descents, 10 stiles some high and awkward. Poles may be useful. Can be muddy and slipper. We may have to reverse this walk if excessive mud. Cows on Swifts Hill, Sydenhams and Copsgrove Fields. Coffee/snack stop.  The Bear Inn and Stirrup Cup may be open for lunch at the end of the walk. The Bisley Farm shop has a café.

A flat walk along the canal towards Stroud cutting across to the cycle track and back through fields to Ocean Bridge. Terrain T0 - flat Coffee stop only

Horsbere Brook Nature Reserve

Leisurely walk, 3.2 Miles (5.1km)
An easy walk from Larkhay Road around the Horsbere Brook Nature Reserve and community woods, passing Zoons Court farmhouse with views over Gloucester. T1, very little climbing, kissing gates but no stiles. One stop for coffee. Refreshments available at the Coach and Horses PH after the walk.
