Every year, at our Annual General Meeting, Officers are elected into various roles to help run the organisation within the Gloucestershire Ramblers Area – one of some 60 Areas that make up the Ramblers Association (Ramblers).
Everyone who joins Ramblers in Gloucestershire, whether as single, joint or life, becomes an Individual Member of the Area and up to one Group.
One of the benefits is that Individual Members can vote at their Group and Area AGMs.
Six local Groups organise walks and monitor footpaths within their Parishes, on behalf of the Area.
Gloucestershire Walking Group helps bring in younger members to Groups within the Area.
