Gloucestershire Way

A page about the Gloucestershire Way – a 100 mile walk authored by Gerry Stewart.

Some video walks along the route by rambler Kevin, Walking the Gloucestershire Way (UK).

The route alongside the Severn is very overgrown at Walham. It’s easiest when in West Gate Park to turn right at the Twyver to follow the Old Spot Walk  east, before heading north on Sandhurst Lane.

  1. Hi great to see this. The rest of the days videos slowly being uploaded. Will probably also do a podcast #walkthisway.

I completed the walk in 6 days, in 2 stages. Chepstow to Gloucester, then Gloucester to Tewkesbury. Staying in pubs/hotels. Details in the description of YouTube videos or please email re: logistic questions.

Was an enjoyable LDP (except the bit from Gloucester along the River Severn which was overgrown and dangerous). Nice mix of valleys, forests and rolling cotswolds hills.
