Just before the church, the route turns left into a housing estate at Riverlands Road. At the end of the road, turn right, cross the road and immediately left into the car park in front of some business units and a training ground. Look for the unusual signs here.
At the end, turn right into a green lane, then pass underneath the railway bridge into open fields. Turn immediately right and at the end follow a surfaced driveway alongside some residential buildings and eventually out on to Swindon Lane.
Turn right and just before the railway bridge cross the road and go through a gate on the left into the fields. The first field has a diagonal path, then bears right, keeping the hedgerow to your right. Look for an old car here.
Continue on this line, ascending gently to a disused railway. Cross the railway keeping the tunnel to your left. From here there are more views of the Cheltenham spires and hills beyond.
Taking an easterly direction towards the racecourse, cross the driveway that leads to Hunting Butts and go past the race day parking areas until you reach the main A435. To return to the Pittville Park starting point, turn right and follow the main road, then turn left into West Approach Drive where you will see the Pump Room ahead. Here ends your 26 mile journey.
