Entering the second field, turn right along the field boundary, cross Ham Brook and then turn left towards a kissing gate and stile at the far end. Cross a metalled road and go under an overhead pipe. Then travel diagonally across a large field, passing beneath some pylons. Look back again at Shurdington church.

After yet another field, walk along a field boundary, keeping the hedge to your right. Ahead you will see Chosen Hill and in the distance May Hill.
After a further two fields you arrive at Cold Pool Lane. Go through the kissing gate and turn left.
