If you’re not yet a member you’re welcome to try a few walks with us for free.
Becoming a member (choose £3 per month or £33 per year)  not only helps keep local footpaths open but our walks are still free!

Weekday walks

Join the Gloucestershire Walking Group group for a 3.0 mile leisurely walk.

Please note the pub has limited capacity so we will not be publishing this event on Meetup.

Meet at 6:45 pm for 7:00pm start outside the 3-Horseshoes pub at the far end of the green in Frampton-on-Severn GL2 7DY.

A walk around the beautiful village of Frampton, secluded lakes and the Gloucester-Sharpness canal then back to the 3-Horseshoes for their famous 3-Shu Pies.

Please park considerately in the village.  For those eating please order before we start the walk.

Join the Gloucestershire Walking Group group for a 3.0 mile moderate walk.

Meet at 6:45 pm for 7:00pm start in the car park of the Bear of Rodborough on Rodborough common GL5 5DE.

Please park at the far end of the car park.

A walk around Rodborough common, finishing at the Bear of Rodbourough for a meal for those who would like to eat.  Those who stay after dark may get to see some rare nocturnal wildlife.

Weekend Walks

Join the Gloucestershire Walking Group group for a 9.5 mile moderate walk.

Meet at 9.45am for 10am start outside the Stirrup Cup in Bisley. Park considerately in nearby lanes.

A lovely summer's walk through surrounding countryside.

Please note some of the paths are a bit overgrown in parts.

Meet at 9.45am for 10am start at the Barrow Wake Viewpoint car park, by the information signs /maps. The car park is about a mile from Birdlip.

A lovely summer's walk taking in Coberley, Cockleford and Elkstone with the great views along the way.

Meet at 9.45am at the Chipping Car Park, Symn Lane, Wotton GL12 7BD

A circular walk from Wotton to Kingswood, Charfield, Huntingford and Damery through fields and woods with great views, and passing historical sites such as Kingswood Abbey. Please bring packed lunch. We may stop en-route at a pub for a drink and post walk drink at nearby pub.

Meet at 9:45am for a 10am start.

A lovely cotswold walk that starts from Condicote Village hall, passes Donnington Brewery, skirts both Upper and Lower Swell then arrives at Lower Slaughter for lunch (bring a packed lunch) Ice creams maybe avaliable and then heads back to Condicote via Upper Slaughter and the Roman Ryknild Street,there are some lovely meadows and views.
