Meet 9.45am for 10am start at the Abbey Terrace car park, Winchcombe.

We will follow the Wardens' Way via Sudeley Castle, Sudeley Lodge and Parks Farm, then along the Saltway returning to Winchcombe via the Windrush Way past Spoonley Farm.

After the walk there is the opportunity to enjoy a pub lunch at the White Hart in Winchcombe to celebrate the walk leader's birthday and we will also have a walk planning session to finalise the spring programme.

Join the Gloucestershire Walking Group group for a 9.0 mile moderate walk.

Meet at 9.45am for 10am start in the back car park of the Royal William pub on A46 (Royal William, Cheltenham Rd, Cranham, Painswick, Gloucestershire GL6 6TT)

A lovely early spring walk heading out towards Slad. The trail is likely to be very muddy in the odd place (wear appropriate footwear and bring poles if you need them) and would be rated moderate in parts.

The Royal William will be serving food if anyone would like to eat at the end of the walk.

For anyone wanting to come by bus, the 61 which runs between Cheltenham Promenade and Stroud/ Dursley stops outside the Royal William.

For those coming by car, please park at the back of the car park behind the pub. The landlord specifically asks that people do not park in the car park opposite the pub to avoid people thinking the pub is full.

Walks for 20-30s

Join the Gloucestershire Walking Group group for a 6.0 mile easy walk.

Flat walk around the lakes in South Cerney, views of countryside and lakes. Wellies suitable as likely to be muddy and terrain is very flat. Great for people new to the group. There is a nice cafe at the end of the walk.
