If you’re not yet a member you’re welcome to try a few walks with us for free.
Becoming a member (choose £3 per month or £33 per year)  not only helps keep local footpaths open but our walks are still free!
You also receive quarterly Walk magazine and discounts at various walking stores

Weekday walks

Weekend Walks

Join the Gloucestershire Walking Group group for a 9.0 mile moderate walk.

Please note slightly later start time to allow time for travel and this is a linear walk so we will park cars at both ends of the walk

Meet at 11am in the car park by River Monnow in Monmouth (Grid reference: SO505125). From there we will drive some cars to the end point of the walk which is St Teilo's Church, Llantilio Crossenny. (Grid reference: SO397148, Post code: NP7 8SU)

The walk will start from Monnow Bridge and follow Offa's Dyke path through Kings Wood to Hendre Farm, Llanvihangel Ystern Llewern (lunch stop, bring picnic) and then onwards across fields and through a Cider orchard and along roads to Llantilio Crossenny. Beautiful views along the way.

Estimated walk finish time approx: 4.00pm, before driving back to Monmouth. Optional pub drinks stop back in Monmouth before heading home.

The car park in Monmouth is free on a Sunday and we can park some of the cars at Llantilio Crossenny church for a small donation.

Zoe is organising an activity day which consists of a canoe trip along the River Wye in the morning and an orienteering session in the Forest of Dean during the afternoon. Cost is £60 per person, you can find more information on www.wyecanoes.com
