Midweek Walks

Join the Gloucester group for a 5.0 mile leisurely walk.

A flat walk with open fields going from Staverton to Barrow and back. Travel Donation 60p

Join the Gloucester group for a 5.5 mile moderate walk.

From the Heritage Centre towards Soudley Village Hall and Ruspidge, climbing to the Staple Edge Bungalows. On to Bradley Hill, returning to the Heritage Centre (free parking). Lovely bluebells if spring is on time. Travel Donation £3.40

A relaxing walk from Bibury through fields and along tracks to Coln St Aldwyns. Back to Bibury along the River Coln via woods and meadows. One short incline towards the end. Travel Donation £4.80

Join the Gloucester group for a 5.0 mile moderate walk.

From Brimscombe Port the walk follows the Thames & Severn Canal before ascending the valley slope to the interesting wool town to Minchinhampton with its fine church and market house. The walk then follows the common with its iron age "Bulwarks" before descending back to Brimscombe. One steep climb up and a slightly more gentle descent. Intresting industrial archaeology and some spectacular views. Travel Donation £2.60

A fairly easy walk from Ford to Cutsdean Hill returning via the Gloucestershire Way through Jackdaw's Castle Racing Stables. Travel Donation £4.80

Around the site of the old Gloster Aircraft Company, the walk encompasses sculptures, a wildflower meadow, industrial archaeology plus being within an area of outstanding natural beauty. An easy, flat walk. Travel Donation 80p

Weekend Walks

Join the Gloucester group for a 8.0 mile moderate walk.

A walk from Brimscombe to Toadsmoor and then onto France Lynch and the Thames & Severn Canal back to Brimscombe. This is a lovely walk and if the garlic flowers are out in Toadsmoor Woods it will be spectacular. A few steep ups and downs with some rocky paths in places. Please bring a packed lunch. Starting from Sandhurst the walk is via the Severn Way to Wainlode Cliff and back via Sandhurst Hill. Could be muddy in places if recent rain. Please bring a packed lunch. Travel Donation 75p

From car park by the river in Redbrook to the Kymin using Offa's Dyke Path. On to ancient Suckstone and returning via Staunton and the Buckstone. A hilly walk on field paths and woodland tracks offering superb views. Please bring a packed lunch. Travel Donation £5.60.

A mixture of ecclesiatic and industrial heritage architecture, historic furnaces and ancient iron mines in the Forest of Dean. A hilly walk on field paths and green lanes. (A circular walk from Clearwell through Whitecliff and Newland). Please bring a packed lunch. Travel Donation £4.20

From Blockley an undulating walk through interesting countryside. We head to Bourton on the Hill then, past Sezincote and on towards Longborough. |Over farm land towards Hinchwick Manor, then woods and valley before joining part of the Ramblers Diamond Way and Bourton Down and back to start. Please bring a packed lunch. Travel Donation £5.80

A fairly strenuous walk through woods by rivers and Waterfalls especially Porth yr Ogof River Cave and Sgwd yr Eira Falls. Wet weather gear will be required. Will be boggy on the way out. Please bring a packed lunch. Travel Donation £10.00

A circular and hilly walk from Bisley village, leading south and west to Round Elm then north passing Purgatory, Redding Wood and Down Hill before turning south at Down Barn Farm and passing Dillay Farm before the final leg on the Wysis Way back to Bisley.
