Midweek Walks

Join the Gloucester group for a 4.8 mile moderate walk.

A walk taking in Wainlode Hill and Sandhurst Hill. One or two climbs. Travel donation £1

A walk from the NT Shortwood car park and around Haresfield Hill past Cromwell's Stone (celebrating the fall of Gloucester in 1643), a Roman Hill fort and Haresfield Beacon. Spectacular views and lovely beech woods up to 200 years old. Travel Donation £1.80

Join the Gloucester group for a 5.3 mile moderate walk.

Walking south to pick up the Gloucestershire Way to Needlehole, Wistley Hill and the Cotswold Way. Can be muddy in parts. Travel Donation £2.40

Weekend Walks

Join the Gloucester group for a 8.0 mile moderate walk.

From Cannop Ponds we follow the Bicslade tram road through an area reclaimed by nature from old mines and quarries. Then forest tracks to the Darkhill Ironworks before returning through a nature reserve. Picnic Lunch. Travel donation £3.60

This probably a familiar walk for most of you. A walk from Haresfield Beacon to the Edgemoor returning through Pitchcombe, with views of at least 3 valleys. The woods should be showing signs of Autumn although it is a little early for the beeches to be golden. Picnic Lunch. Travel Donation £1.50

Partly using the Cotswold and Monarchs Way the walk visits five villages within the two parishes. Expects woods, hills and valleys and hopefully some good views with autumnal colours. Picnic Lunch. Travel donation £5

A level circular walk around the Frampton-on-Severn and Saul Junction area with good scenery but a number of stiles. Bring a packed lunch if required. Travel Donation £2
